Benjamin Reaves aka “Dj Benzo” grew up in the small town of Azusa, CA, in the greater Los Angeles area. He developed an early love for music as a young child, becoming infatuated with oldies and RnB before all of his teeth came in. This love would only grow throughout his childhood, being exposed to a wide spectrum of music; from hip-hop to rock to pop; every genre has its place. He could see the beauty in them all.

Later on in his college years he found himself spending a lot of time on the auxiliary cord at house parties as a wannabe DJ, becoming a trusted party-rocker via Spotify. It wasn’t until a few years after college that he discovered Academy of DJs, an innovative DJ program that taught him the ins and outs of what it took to be a true DJ. That’s when the story of DJ Benzo truly began.

Fast forward to today, DJ Benzo has rocked crowds in a plethora of environments: Clubs, Bars, House Parties, Weddings, Corporate Events, Birthdays, etc. He truly values being the trusted sound selector at weddings,” … it’s the most important day in my clients’ lives, it’s my duty to deliver”, he states.
